Monkey Business

The local show is looming and I thought it was time to drag the pastels out for another wildlife painting. Quite appropriate for Monkey Paw Gallery, don't you think?

Here is a quick pastel of my dog Holly - this is on velour paper. Difficult at times to work with but great results.

Been working on a tiger drawing, still laid up with the broken knee. Can't wait to get back to the studio. Hope you like this so far...

After breaking my leg, standing at the easel has been impossible. I have dragged out the pencils to keep myself occupied - here is one of my nephew Oran.

Damien Leith Portrait

After 3 long months the Damien Leith portrait is finally finished. Acrylic on canvas. Hope you like it!

Last year I donated a koala painting to the Hunter Koala Preservation Society to raffle to raise much needed funds. The painting raised $3800 and went towards a new scanner. Here is the painting that I am donating this year. Another koala of course!
